The head of our team, Dr. Susan McCann, goes well beyond the minimum number of annual continuing education courses required for state licensing to ensure that she has the latest advancements in veterinary medicine available for your pets.

The staff here at Summerwood Vet are also funded to attend courses to advance their knowledge in the latest pet care techniques. All of our staff are pet owners, just like you, so we have a first hand understanding of the human/animal bond.

Summerwood Vet Clinic is located less than one mile outside Beltway 8 on West Lake Houston Parkway in the Summerwood subdivision. We are convenient to FM 1960, Atascosita, Kingwood. Fallcreek, and Humble.

Summerwood Veterinary Clinic was purchased in December 2006 by Dr. Susan McCann and her husband Peter from the retiring Dr. Robert Leonpacher.
